Thread: Tonight at Cinderford

Quite enjoyed the game last night, despite the score line the game was end to end. Our finishing was non existent compared to Cinderford who finished at will (no pun intended to the young city keeper). A nice bit of skill showing by some of our younger players.

How did our ex players perform Sam Turl and Sammie Hicks both. class acts when with us just too young. Could they step up now a little older would solve our fullback problem for next season.

Both did ok and have now matured and looked physically stronger. Stand out player for me James Harding, the Cinderford number 10 who scored a couple of crackers and indeed went on to bag a hat trick.

Sounds like it was men (Cinders) against boys (City)

Fair enough playing the kids and players needing fitness in this match. We have enough injuries and suspensions already. Good luck to Cinderford in the rest of the competition.
