    Jamie Edge

By the looks of Jamie's Twitter he has been released from the club this morning.

Just seen this. Not sure what to make of the way that it's happened. Awkward if the manager is in Devon, maybe it should've been done face to face after the game?

Agree strange to do it by phone when could have been done after the game yesterday. CT did allude in his interview yesterday to be looking to bring in a central midfield player so would seem he’s balancing the books.

Shame for Jamie as he’s really put in some good performances in recent weeks.

Good luck Jamie. Always been a good servant. Shame it's ended on a bit of a sour note.

Hopefully this means we'll bring in a new midfielder with an engine as we're really missing that since Webby retired.

Until the last couple of months Id thought he was a southern league/Hellenic player, but recently he has been dogged and a real battler. His passing has come on leaps and bounds too.

Shame to see him go but in Todd I trust

Good luck Jamie. Always gave his all.

Sadly we'll also lose two coach stalwarts and thoroughly decent fellas.
Pitying people who need to drink alcohol to have a good time since 4th June 2017.

Huge shame this, he's been a class player the past 6 weeks or so. And we'll also miss a couple of faces on the coaches too. No more Where's Your Car Edgie

I always thought Edgie was underestimated. He broke up play and kept it simple, you need those sorts of players in a team to help others shine.

Shame, but clearly some changes are needed so will be interested to see how he is replaced.
