    GCAFC Walking Football

    Hello All,

As part of our ever expanding Community project, we're looking into the viability of setting up our very own Gloucester City AFC walking football side. A friend of mine plays for a team based in Cheltenham and loves it, giving him ample opportunity to regale us in the pub (often for hours!) with fresh stories about his new found footballing exploits.

I would love to know if there is any appetite amongst our support base to join an Over 50's, Over 60's or even Over 70's side. This obviously won't happen over night and will require a bit of organising but my vision for the Walking football side would be that you would represent Gloucester City, wearing the iconic Yellow and Black, in the local league and perhaps down the line we can look to getting a local business to sponsor (subsidise kit etc).

For more information please see this link to the GFA's website

If there is any interest, please either send me an email at or if you are a twitter user please PM the Clubs main account.

    Many Thanks

I’ve taken it up since leaving. I really enjoy it.
