At our level of football and with so many teams of all ages playing, AW is the only way to go, that is if the owners can afford it!

Towards the end of the last seasons at Meadow Park the playing surface was a total disgrace, ankle deep in mud, too many unnecessary minor matches played on it, totally embarrassing to look at!

All to get parents into the social club!

Can't get behind an all weather pitch at all due to restrictions on them as you rise through the divisions. If the club were to reach the Football League it would not be allowed to play using a 3G pitch, if I recall correctly.

It was more a joke as their racecourse is on sand. I don't want us to have a 3g pitch as it just isn't the same game and as mentioned above the Football League currently do not allow 3g pitches.

    .

Ostriches with their heads in the sand!

Quite a few Champions and European League matches were played on them this week, if the rest of Europe can allow them why not the money grabbers in charge of Sky leagues here.

As they only have a ten year life or so, by the time Glos City reach the Premier league the playing surface will be due to be replaced anyway!

Not a fan of 3G either but do recall England played a World Cup qualifier on one so if they're good enough for FIFA/UEFA why don't the FL support them?
