I though we could move but only if we played on the same surface I.e. grass to grass and not 3G.

There was a solution when a group of people offered a few years back to take this club further, unfortunately our owner wanted to keep GCAFC to hand on to his family for 'perpetuity'. His words.....not mine !

Being a person who always deals in facts as opposed to rumour and supposition, could someone tell me first where Rod Jenner states the club cannot move back to Meadow Park mid season. Once I know the source of said statement I would then be prepared to answer the question raised. Factual statements can only be answered on actual facts.

    Thank you.

    Thank you.
I spoke to Chris Gauge and Rod Jenner at the game on Saturday and Chris Gauge told me (amongst other things) that the club could not change grounds 6 months into the season.
I cannot recall if Rod also said this as I had a few conversartions with both individuals. I WAS told this hence I asked if you could confirm this is the case Brandman.
Chris as you know has his finger in many pies and I believe is the media spokesman for the club. He may have the wrong end of the stick I don't know but Chris definitely said this to me, the fact is he told me. If it's an actual fact I don't know. But I can assure you I am not imagining it or making it up.

After we had drank our tea and read our programmes we were introduced to the chairman a very amiable Rod Jenner and Chris Gage. They up dated on the progress at Meadow Park and exciting ideas they have for next season some of which we have heard before but you cannot question their enthusiasm We were then served a hot meal and more tea, Joe settled for the cider. We were invited to sit in the directors part of the stand but declined the offer More tea at half time and delicious lemon sponge cake which Mim had baked . The game was end to end stuff with city on top most of the time but they almost managed to throw away a 3 nil lead and only a Gordon Banks type save by James Hamon (who was my man of the match) kept the points in Gloucester (Evesham) So many thanks to everyone who made it such an enjoyable day.
Thank you Ken it was a great day, and thank you Mim for the lovely spread, it was good to have Rod and Chris come over to have a long chat with us, two really dedicated people. its a pity that the few who have nothing but criticism were not with us.

There is no rule which would preclude City moving back into Meadow Park as and when it is ready, providing it has received a B Grade from the FA. That is to play in the National League South.

No way would the League wish to see a new stadium stand empty. If they were still st Evesham not sure if there would be a financial penalty clause but suspect not if ground share payment is front loaded.
