Seconds get first win of season

The Ladies second XI won their first match of the season, with a 4 - 3 victory over fellow strugglers Dursley Town.

Laura Meheran got a brace, and Jo Thompson hit a 25 yard, chip/lob. City were 4 - 0 up at half time. But Dursley fought back extremely well.
They have got one of the fastest centre halfs I have seen for a long time, who is a quality player.

The firsts didn't play today.

I watched Mouse play for Newquay at Keynsham, she won 3-0, scored one (penalty after being fouled) and set one up when her goalbound header was pushed into the goalscorers path.

Good old Mousey, Newquay must be in with a chance of promotion up to the premier league.

4th goal scored today was by Sian Rollings, who had a cracking game, as did Mel in midfield, and Jo up front even though she tried to keep her nice new white boots clean.
