View Full Version : Radio glos commentators today

I had the radio on today for our game and after all the interviews and things finished, they went over to the Gloucester girls rugby teams ground, who kick of their first home game tonight at 6pm

The commentators were talking to a few fans before the game (manly 60 year old women fact) and one was stunned when she asked to predict the score. WHAT you might be able to do that for Football but never rugby, can you ? In the end she said we would win by ten points, and I nearly wet myself laughing so much.

I actually went to the Game :o (After hours of pleading from Friends might I add ;))

If I'm honest I was half sleeping at one point, the 'Shed' wasn't that good at all. T-End > Shed anyday of the week.

How much does it cost to get in ? Just to stand will do.

Not for one min would I go and watch the rubbish, just interested to get a comparison.

It will cost you a whopping £22 pounds to stand  if you pay on the day or £20 if you buy in advance (assuming your paying as an adult). If you go as a student it will still be £18 on the day and £16 in advance.

My advice would be to come and watch City play instead

£22 is quite expensive to stand.

How much is it to sit considering the view from some of the seats (http://www.gloucesterrugby.net/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=013831;p=2) :(

£22 FFS and people moan about football prices at out level, and nice clear view to sit as well so I see, good only knows how much you would pay for that pleasure

Sorry I know sod all about the game don’t they only play 80 mins as well ?.sounds real value for money

I paid £16 to stand in the Shed.

I would've rather watched Football anyday, but at least it was something to do, and meant I didn't have to watch one of those god-awful reality TV shows!

I have just lost the will to live, I have just been forced to watch 10 mins of rugby, and FFS is it the most boring slow game in the world? I thought our refs slowed the game down, but after watching this stupid girls game that stops every 10 seconds it makes our look like saints.

Going to watch paint dry now.
