Word on the street is that Grays want to be placed in the Ryman Div1 North following their relegation from the BSP and have lost their ground.
Is anyone going to go down this year???

What I cant believe is that Thurrock want to charge Grays £55000 for a seasons groundshare. Everyone was moaning about what Cheltenham are charging us but judged on that we are getting a bargin.
This news will also improve our chances of getting into the BSS which would increase even more if Gateshead were to be relegated.

So who decides where we go? Do we have a say on staying in the BSN?

I hope we do stay in the North. There's an interesting thread on the BSN forum about budgets and that Weston have been relegated from the BSS with a budget which would get a team into the BSN playoffs!

But I may not be London based by time next season comes around. Regardless as to where I am I still think we would do better in the South and I think it will help us to attract players.

I think we will be better in north! Less "football" played in the north and we are adapting to the physicality of the north!

See that Lewes won at Worcester on Saturday and if they win their games in hand, it will put Worcester in bottom 3.....so will that push us into BSS if they went down??

Mike Avery (http://www.mikeavery.co.uk/Steps%201-4%20in%202010-11.htm) has us as BSN and FGR as BSS, that would be shit.

That would make the FGR to the South thing even more farcical.

I hope sense prevails and we have two local derbies next season with FGR and Worcester. It's a main thing our season has lacked in the Conference North this year. I've heard that a couple seasons ago, before they were reprieved, Forest Green were more than happy to be a Conference North side, lets hope they are again!
