Just to let you know that I have contacted the FA to formally nominate Jack on behalf of the club.
That said though, I can find no mention that its running this year, but will let you know whats what when they come back to me. If it is running then we would have to get everybody voting like mad!

Rang 6-0-6 this evening, but could not get through. Sent them a text, which was not read out. Anyway, I am thrilled to bits with the result even if I can't interest Alan Green.

If it's being run this year, if he gets nominated and if he wins the vote he gets presented to the Cup Final crowd!

I didn't have to register the first time, but I did so's I could cast my second vote. I want to see Jack win by a margin. Had the e-mail by DCM who has got it just right with his message to the youth fraternity.
(I like Steve Cook as well, as a matter of fact. His dad used to be our co-manager with Burnsy)

Jack currently on 73.7%, Adam Mitchell of Selby Town is next on 10.75%, Matthew Harris of Merthyr on 9.56% and Steve Cook Clevedon on 5.97%
but no room for complacency as some clubs might not have mobilised their support yet....

Here's a tip - if you go to the Yate site and click on Yatesman's link (under re Player of the Round) then for some reason you can vote there without registering and even if you've already voted before, although it'll only allow you to 're-vote' once.
Noah
19th September 2007, 05:52 PM
That didn't work, but I did try. I've probably sent out messages to hundreds of people, but I suppose they think it's spam. The Cook campaign seems to be having some success. Come on, let's do better !

Shandy is right. If you click on the link on Bluebell Banter then you don't have to register.
Someone I know has just voted ( at 6.10pm) and Pitcher is on 53.45%.
Looks like Clevedon have mobilised a bit of support you might need to call in some favours. Who are the FGR boys voting for? p'haps you can call on them, or the egg-chasers, or am I showing some naievety here?
