Two interviews this week, Tim Harris (http://www.cityladies.co.uk/spf/th150907.wav) and also five goal hero Jack Pitcher (http://www.cityladies.co.uk/spf/pitcher150907.wav).

Thanks to Tim & Jack for talking to me

I have always thought how fortunate we are a City fans that we not only have a very active/busy Forum but there can't be many clubs where we, thanks to Neil, we have not only a 'still' action packed record of matches but also cam recordings too.
Just how many clubs at this level does the managager give an 'After Match' interview to the fans?

Not content with that Neil today scores the scoop of the day with getting an interview which many will cast as a hero of the day Jack Pitcher.
Many thanks to Neil, and of course to everyone involved with this unique football family of Gloucester City Football Club.

Great work, Neil.

Tim is as honest as ever.

As for Jack's fifer, people reminded me today that Chris Townsend was the last to do it. I am sure I saw those goals. Were they against Gosport in that 9-1 win in the fog ?

I saw a City player score five on just one other occasion - that was Dick Etheridge in the fifties, but it may have been for the reserves in a Western League match.

The thing about Jack's goals, in which I had hoped to interest Mr Alan Green, was how clinical they all were. I bet Akela was pleased with Jack's efforts at the cubs.

Come on - lets not get carried away. Neil is doing a good job but he has a long way to go before he is as professional as those guys at Sky Sports.........;)

I can remember Rob Coldray scoring 5 for City, also in the Fifties, think it may have been against Merthyr Tydfil. We beat them 6-1, the other goal was scored by Jimmy Weston and the first thing he did after scoring was to apologise to Rob for spoiling his double hat-trick.
