Is anybody on here planning to go this year, and if so, are you ready for the mad scramble tomorrow morning? Hopefully, me and 3 mates are going this year. Not as many as usual though.
I remember last Glasto, someone posted the link to the order form page on here as soon as they got through to it. Was a great shortcut for getting hold of tickets. If anyone is going, I reckon we should do the same thing this time around.

this is the closest thing to a link I have found so far, it just means you can skip the main seetickets.com home page. As Joe mentioned, the real gem is the link direct to the order form. I'm actually quite optimistic, considering there is also a phone line and a lot of the people using the website will be ordering more than one ticket, which means there won't be the full 400,000 people trying to get on to the page all at once.

Glad I don't have to go through all this in the morning. Good luck with trying to get the tickets though. It wouldnt surprise me if people who havnt registered try for tickets there are some thick people out there. I say that becuase I thought more than 400,000 people would apply. I think you've got around a 3/1-4/1 chance of getting a ticket and those are decent odds.

How much did that cost you Matt and why do you need so many?

I got 20 in total, you can only buy 3 per debit card, so once i got on the form and processed my own 2 tickets, i just clicked back in the browser and re-entered different details for friends etc, just kept on clicking back, so I didn't pay for them all by myself!
STOP PRESS: Just tried again and all sold out now!

Cheers Matty. You are a hero and I am forever indebted to you. I'll give you a can of Strongbow if you want to meet up down there. Are you going to camp in Pennards again?

Not sure mate, if they put some flood defences in then maybe! Will be a few extra fields this year to accomodate the increase in numbers. I think I just got lucky with the form, once it has loaded once there's no more waiting.
I have decided that anyone wanting to express their thanks to me can do it by means of a pear cider on the friday of the festival. That should equal about 19 by my reckoning. Woohoo!

yeah got mine yesterday, few other people I got tickets for didn't get theirs until today, if you go to the seetickets site and go on the ticket tracker, you can check the status of the order using the postcode of the address you used to register and the last 4 digits of the card you used. Otherwise try calling seetickets if you still haven't received anything. You checked your spam folder?

As I saw Shirley Bassey at the Blackpool Opera House when I was ten or eleven, I didn't try to get a Glastonbury ticket. It's better to give someone else the chance to see the babe from Tiger Bay. She's very good.
I'll content myself with the Upton Jazz Festival as usual - same weekend.

It came through about 12.30pm today. Very relieved.
Only task now is to design some sort of mode of transport to safely move all my goods from the car parks to the best camping areas. My sack truck in 2005 went between 10 and 15 yards from the car before a wheel fell off and I had to abandon it.

Relieved to hear you got confirmation.
My sack truck collapsed too, admittedly it was rather weak to begin with and loaded with 6 x 24 packs of booze! This year I'm just gonna do two trips, it's the only sensible option really.

After inheriting it in a house move, I used a sweet trolley for Reading 2000. Did the job just about, the wheels buckled eventually under the strain of my booze and snap.
