You might be interested to know that a new covered stand has been installed at Lodge Rd.
It's a cantilever type so no posts or columns to spoil the view and has a capacity for over 500( apparantly).
When I was last there the stepped terracing still had to be installed but hopefully that will be done by Saturday.
The stand has great acoustics too so not too difficult to make yourself heard.
It's been built behind the goal to the right as you walk in ( the East End of the ground) but as yet there isn't a matching one behind the other goal.
Pretty Cool,Huh?

Which end is it at?
Good on Yate for adding to their facilities. I can remember when it was all tree trunks acting as perimeter fence!

Now now Lee, non league fraternity and all that. Yatesman, if you are in the clubhouse before/after/half time and fancy buying me a pint I'll gladly drown your sorrows with you. Nice to put a face to a name especially when they put their hand in their pocket :D
I'll be the one that looks like a cross between Gareth Southgate and Peter Beardsley, you probably won't need visuals as you'll smell me before you see me.

Lee , I was also the one running up and down the T-end like a frigging maniac when Yate went 2-0 up at your place last season, so I don't go hiding away, I promise you.
I'll wear a T-Shirt with the words 'I AM YATESMAN' if you like.
But seriously, I'm more than happy to have a chat with you guys tomorrow as it is nice to put faces to names and all that, at the end of the day, our similarities are probably greater than our differences.
Just to say, whatever the result I'm really looking forward to tomorrow as an event as much as a football match and just hope everyone has a great time.

Interesting......I really hope we win tomorrow. For numerous reasons, including those celebrations in the T-End, I don't tend not to look too favourably on Yate.
Plus they always seem to play quite well for a pub team so we will have to play well tomorrow. I hope everyone is cutting up their yellow pages
