The Under 12's had a really tough assignment for their first match of the season, a long away trip to Burton Albion. Despite not having a lot of luck with arranging pre season matches, last weeks scheduled match was cancelled by our opponents, Shayne and the lads got off to a flyer with a 4-1 win. Reports that have come back to me via some parents who were at the game, suggest we were good value for the win.
The 13s entertained Tamworth, always a strong side, and drew 1-1.
The 14s have been training hard for a while and I am sure were pleased to get back into competitive action, which they did in style with a 2-1 away win at Stourport.
The 15s and 16s went down to Almondsbury and Alvechurch respectively
