A hereford fan for over 30 years has been giving a lifetime ban by the chairman because a post he didnt like appeared on the hereford forum of which he moderates, the man in question did not even know of the post until the cahirman rang him to tell him that he was banned. I for one thinks this is a little harsh and if you also think so then could you sign this online petition thats been set up by some hereford fans.

Does anyone know what it said?

Graham Turner has a statement on their website...

I was reading about it yesterday. Graham Turner is testing the mettle of the fans at Edgar Street by doing this and it already sounds as if he's quietly backing down...

Wouldn't it make sense to read the post first, then sign the petition?

What was said, was it racist, sexist. ageist, threatening, libellous, insulting?

It was a post from a supporter against a member of staff at the football club, thats all I know. It was left unedited for three days, the "moderator" was away for the bank holiday weekend and without computer access so was unable to do anything about it yet Graham Turner seems to have chosen to make him a scapegoat. The fans should vote with their feet and stay away from Edgar Street until the ban is lifted.

Have signed as well - crazy that a fan can't have an opinion about a member of staff at HIS football club!!!

No not the children's program, I have signed too.

This action was the only thing that was childish.

As I understand it the posting was by a supporter other than the moderator. The content is irrelevant as the issue is that the moderator was made a scapegoat for someone else's posting.

I know that Neil is like a father to all of you Tigers fans, but you wouldn't expect him to be punished for something you said, would you?
