Take a look at those highlights from SoccerX and you'll see what I mean about zooming in too close, he looses the ball a couple of times. That said, you could still move in a little bit ;)

Also, I like the way that you've zoomed in on a player after an incident so as to show who was involved - nice touch that!

Great to see the highlights. Thanks Paul and Neil.

I thought Martyn Ellis had stepped down from the tannoy though?

I wondered the same. Maybe he wanted the job back cos he thought he'd be able to use the wireless mike and wander around the pitch like DJ Peake :D

Took a look at those video highlights.

Brilliant camera work and really clear video pictures.

It's nice to see the incidents again, especially the goals,Brill.

The Halesowen video shots were of a high class as well.

Which brings me to my other point, both teams appear on video to be playing class football, but that's not the case, as most times we just gave it the big boot. I cannot recall us stringing three passes together all night.
I can remember watching International matches, which were terrible to watch. Yet the highlights on TV were marvellous to watch. (I suppose it's down to skillful editing!)
IT's a pity we could not induce some of the fireside fusiliers who watch on Sky etc and who never get their feet wet in the trenches, to come to The New Lawn, as a stadium for junior football ,it is something special!

Forgive me if you think im wrong but from looking at the Halesowen goal especially in slow mo, seems to highlight some very poor defending in leaving the man totally un-marked at the far post for a tap in after Kev made the initial save ?

Kev didn't make a save, the shot deflected off Thommo!

Tim wasn't happy with Hambo for backing off, backing off and not getting tighter to their man before he got the shot it.

BTW - Paul will be available before the game, at half time and possibly at full time (if not I'll pop in the Green Man after the game) and we'll be looking for people to interview with their opinions on the game. Don't be shy!!!

Well I need glasses then :o

Watched it a few times as well and thought that he pushed it into the path of the unmarked player ! :o

I was more looking at the movement from the City players as the scorer came in a the far post. They seem to all be moving away from him leaving him totally unmarked !

But hey, maybe I didn't even see that correctly :o

I thought the same as you Bully

What is amusing is the idiot in the top right corner of the picture jumping around as Tom Webb's shot spins over the line.

I enjoyed that!

I'm certain that it took a deflection off of Thommo - ask Kev!

And yes, the marking is dreadful isn't it? Only two strikers and four defenders in the shot and one of them has the freedom of Nailsworth :(

Not that I would doubt you Neil but I have to drop him a text anyway ;) so I will slip in the question. I think your probably right though coz looking at it again Thommo I think runs across the goal as he strikes and Kev dives !

And the winner is........

Neil :notworthy:

The big man confirmed that it was in fact a deflection off Tommo.

Great to see the highlights. Thanks Paul and Neil.

I thought Martyn Ellis had stepped down from the tannoy though?

Martyn has done us a great favour. Charlie was going to find it difficult to cover all the games, especially the evenings, and Martyn stepped back in.
