I have started a blog, loosely based around a being a girl who likes non-league, watching city and general rants about football...

Next season it will actually be updated a bit more and be slightly more relavent (it might include more match reports and analysis stuff) but in the meantime please have a look:

And let me know what you think - there is a comment facility on there

A very interesting and well written blog Girlsilver.

Whilst I support Cheltenham and would dearly hate to see us relegated, I still love non-league football and like to read these types of blogs so I'm sure I'll be making a number of visits. How often are looking at updating it?

You'll love this (http://s3.zetaboards.com/staffordrangersfans/single/?p=8058230&t=7350780) Jen ;)

Just read the match report in the NLP. Jenni Silver reports - "A last minute save off the line gave Mike Green in the City goal his only real challenge of the day."
So she missed Fab hitting the bar before Gloucester scored and the shot from Fab he pushed over for the corner, not to mention some of the long range efforts (albeit not real tests) in the first half, plus a few scrambles in the second half??? Suppose so. Just paint it blacker than it was "Dear". We can do that ourselves thank you!

Wonderfully it appears the Northwich player mentioned in my blog is now the regular goalie for them and will probably play on Saturday!

He just showed me the pic on his phone! I seem to remember he was a fairly derogatory towards Muzzie after he had been sent off too...

i am on skittles tour on Saturday, oh how I would love to be stood behind that goal! its therefore the duty of every city fan in attendance to unleash the verbal powers of hell upon him in my absence.

didn't the northwich assistant manager kick a hole in the dressing room door at the corinium when they played us? I think he is probably due his commupance too, I believe he has a somewhat chequered past which could be alluded to in the form of verbal abuse :)

Andy Morrison admitted using "improper words" towards the ref when Vics visited in December, the FA website said he is also facing a misconduct charge (abusive words) in relation to the tie with Gainsborough and has until April 21 to respond...he was at Worcester before Northwich, again as assistant manager to Mr Preece

from wikipedia:

[edit] Post-retirement
After Morrison's departure from Bury, he decided to retire from the playing side of the game. He became assistant manager to Andy Preece at Worcester City.

During a pre-season friendly match against Kidderminster Harriers on 5 August 2006, an incident in the changing-room area caused the game to be abandoned after 71 minutes. Harriers' manager Mark Yates called the referee over to him and said he was going to take his team off due to an off-the-field incident involving Morrison. On 17 August, Worcester City announced the results of an internal enquiry into the incident. The club fined Morrison the maximum allowed under FA guidelines, suspended him for three games, and warned him of his future conduct. The Football Association itself fined Morrison £750 and also gave him a six-match touchline ban.[12]

Morrison resigned in April 2007.[13]

Morrison is now assistant manager, again to Andy Preece, at Northwich Victoria.

[edit] Personal life
In August 2006, Morrison pleaded guilty to four charges of fraud concerning income support, jobseeker's allowance, and council tax benefits, dating from August 2003 to July 2005. He failed to inform the Department for Work and Pensions and Vale Royal Borough Council in Cheshire that he had £58,000 in his bank account while he was still claiming benefits. He defrauded the authorities out of more than £6,500 and was ordered to pay £95 court costs and carry out a fifty-hour community punishment order. In mitigation it was said that he "was dissipating the capital very quickly, spending his own money on operations. He blames no-one apart from himself. He is not financially-astute at all. He is very naive when it comes to finance. He has little or no knowledge of the financial world".[14]

So he is a violent aggressive benefit cheat, whose only defence is that he is also stupid. Lovely.
