Brian Godfrey memorial service in Gloucester

I have been asked by Brian Godfrey’s family to post this on here as you are all welcome.
There will be a memorial for Brian, or a celebration of his life if you prefer, on Saturday May 1st at St Barnabas Church, Gloucester, 2:00 PM.
The Church is on the Finlay Road / Stroud Road roundabout for those that are not aware.
This is for fans, players, former players and anybody that knew Brian but I would be grateful if you could PM me your intent as the family are keen to get a feel on numbers attending.
There will be speakers during the service that will no doubt make you laugh and cry with their stories of Brian’s life so to say your very own goodbye there’ll be no better opportunity.

Not only would it have been Brian's 70th birthday today but it is also 21 years ago today that we beat Grantham to win the SL Midland division and give Brian his first success as City manager.

A real gent and true City legend.
