Spare Pens

We must all have lots and lots more pens than we need, and many are completely unused. What to do with them ?

If you have as many as I have then they become a nuisance. I am loathe to simply chuck them out as I recall a school party in the past that went to Gambia to help out at a school there. They were glad of pens and other stationery sundries.

I wondered if anyone knew of a charity that collects them. More likely perhaps that charities have hangars full of them, which they send out to encourage people to complete questionairres and send them money.

We get loads of those questionnaire ones in the post. They are all new pens, but if you look they contain a minute amount of ink. Maybe enough to answer their questions and thats it. The cheeky blighters!
