Never made an impact on football. Well, the Premiership is the most watched league in the World. The Championship had higher attendances than Serie A last year if I remember correctly. The English squad has reached the last 8 of the majority of recent competitons, we are one of the teams to have won the World Cup, produced one of the biggest commerical players the game has ever seen... I believe someone is talking out of their arse there.

I agree with the chap.

If the FA can't afford to help a club with a 125 year history in a major provisional city find a new home, then why should it be spending millions on a one-off tournament to be enjoyed by Johnny Foreigner and not the good old British Bulldog Gloucestrian
