WHERE WILL UNDER 18's PLAY HOME GAMES?

As Meadow Park is now no longer do we know where the Under 18's are likely to play their home games? As it's a floodlit league --- Tuffley Rovers maybeez!!

The Under 18 squad will not me moving to The New Lawn. The main priority this last few weeks had to be the first team. Attention will now switch to the Under 18 squad and an official announcement will follow as soon as something has been agreed.

There is an important point to make here and that is that the clubs support of the youth team remains as strong, if not stronger, than ever. The move to The New Lawn has no impact on this whatsoever. GCAFCYD is fully self funding.

The Yourth Team do receive additional funding from the Supporters Trust :)

Incidentally, the Ladies are still looking for somewhere to play, we have the same problem of ground grading.

The Supporters Trust, who are of course a separate legal entitiy from Gloucester City 1980 Ltd, are indeed a major sponsor of GCAFCYD and have neen for some years. Their support is invaluable and is very much appreciated - indeed it is invaluable.

Last time I heard from Ian he was talking about speaking to Tuffley Rovers, I'd suggested Slimbridge. With time running out speed is ofthe essence, so you may be right, don't really care where it is so long as we have somewhere to play.

Hopefully, in a couple of years time we will have a new Stadium and ground where we can become 'that one big family again'.

BTW Thanks RegCubit for renewing your Membership in the Supporters Trust. If ever there was a time for an increase in membership, this IS IT.....
