I have just posted this on the BBC sport 606 page for Tottenham Hotspur, maybe we could all try doing the same kind of thing on the pages for the teams we support - lets get it out there to all involved in supporting football

I posted on one of the Premiership forums, it wasn't a begging letter. I simply told them our plight and asked if any of the forum members would speak to their individual clubs, to see if they could help in any way.

Within hours it was removed from the forum.

There are teams in the premiership with lots of money and lots with big debts, but I think they are just concerned with themselves and not grass routes.

The fact is more people play and support football in the non-league than the whole of the premiership, I think we will get more joy from the generosity of these people.

Our new commercial guy wrote to several Premier clubs. Chelsea said NO instantly. Think our this attitude when you buy their shirts and tickets.

I have always followed the Blues.....this has made be change my views on this HUGE Club that could have spared just a little, which would have been 'HUGE' as far as we are concerned.:(:(

Especially as they have just splashed out £130,000 a week ctr for JT. I wonder if £500 would go a miss??

I think Chelsea already donate a major amount of money to charities already, however to them £500 is absolutely nothing, yet to us its massive figuratively speaking. Very Dissappointed :(

Just another reason why I don't care much for the Premiership anymore. I hope I'm wrong when I say this but I can't see there being much response from the clubs. They just think of themselves.

Very dissapointing but I would imagine we will get the same response from most, if not all, of the Premier League clubs.

Its alright for some, they have got grants and funding coming from everywhere. Bet we wouldn't mind £2 million for a new Meadow Park....

I'm sure thats what the GHURC is there for isn't it? If we could plan something like that on a smaller scale I don't see any reason, if as Shandy says, we prepare our case thoroughly that we can't get a significant amount of funding from these bodies.
