Did I hear correctly that we lost Ray Marshall during the closed season? :(

I thought there was an annoncement at the beginning of the match about a minutes silence for those who passed away. But then it didn't seem to happen?

Yes, I was at Ray's funeral yesterday, and wrote about him in today's programme. I understand that though the one minute's silence was announced over the PA system, the referee did not signal it and so it could not happen. This unfortunate failure will be rectified at the first home league game versus Corby.

[Neil]

Interesting point that you make in the programme Noah about Frank Tredgett. His postman said to me that he'd been delivering to him for years but never knew that he had such an interesting past.

I'm sure I know Ray, but can't put a face to the name. Do you have any old pictures of him Neil?

Darren McCluskey was one I was happy to sponsor (as I am Ollie Barnes). The worst thing that anyone said of Darren was that he never got booked. No, that doesn't quite make sense to me either.
