can anyone help?

I recently connected my mate's laptop to my tv using an s video lead. Now I sort of fluked changing the monitor settings in the first place to get the desktop to appear on the tv screen, and now I can't seem to change it back! I have mucked about for ages, and even when I take the lead out and restart the laptop screen is just blank, you can only view it via the tv.

Any ideas???

right click on a blank part of the desktop and have a look in the settings - I'm sure there will be an option in there...

yeah that's where i'm doing the mucking about, tried all sorts but nothing seems to work :(
