Nice knock today.
One thing that puzzles me about him is when did he become such a swash buckling big hitter? When I saw him he was second fiddle to, well, everyone.

Good question. I'm sure he never used to get scores like that, and he also used to score at a much slower rate.
Franklin is 75 not out at the moment too. Strong middle order.

Yeah, I watched that, it was amazing. Then the D/L target for Glamorgan was something else too!

He struggled for consistency when he first joined but I think he has grown massively in confidence, with skippering the Irish side a real feather in his cap. He has taken on the Craig Spearman attacking opening role, if you want to see how good he can be look at the scorecard against Glam in the 20/20, I listened to this on radio and it was awesome, had he survived another few overs he would have been breaking records for fastest centuries.
