Right people a while ago i said about setting up a syndicate that contributes directly to the players budget. i only have 8 people so far that have agreed to donate regularly, however i am still going to try make this scheme take off. what i need now is suggestions for the name of this scheme. i.e Forest Green have called theirs GRASS.
I am just sorting out the financial part and then once i have a few suggestions for a name i will print out some leaflets to try and get people down the ground contributing!
Sensible answers please Shandy!!!!

well done for setting this up clifty at city. has worked wonders at forest green - we were able to sign danny carey-bertram for example in january and he went on to be our top scorer. i'm sure tim harris will be please to hear about this. city fans get involved because it is a great way of making money for the wage bill.

Clifty. Look into getting 'standing order' forms printed. I'm not sure how they work exactly, but the Trust use them for the 500 Club.
It'll save you walking round with a bucket each week!

Trev is emailing me the standing order details and i will put the details on a leaflet that i am going to put together! there are a lot of people that would probably join up that don't come on here! watch this space!!

We have run the "Syndicate" for longer than FGR has run its scheme. Clifty's initiative is a kind of "Son of Syndicate" - though the Syndicate continues.
Joycie, not showing off to you, just wanting to acknowledge some real stalwarts whose contributions have made a significant difference for several seasons now. Clifty, have nothing but admiration for you. Glad that Trev's in the picture and being helpful as ever. We're all going the same way, and we're picking up the pace.
It's a good point that Clifty makes about the Forum. We always have to watch out that others are kept informed, who don't read our postings. I suspect we have occasionally forgotten that in the past.
Looking forward to seeing you all on Tuesday.

If they're just in black and white I could get a reasonable number photocopied for you for free.

Thanks Sarah. I will try and design something today. Pm me your private email address and i will email over a copy for photocopying. May not be today but will hopefully get chance to omplete by the end of the week!
As Noah as said the "syndicate" has been running now for some time. I am just trying to put a fresh spin on it and hopefully get more people involved on a more "regular" basis.
Sarah, will you be attending the city games?
