I wondering if any one had any ideas what music they should bring the teams out to next season
I think it needs to be a catchy one that would get the people out of the bar into the T-end and to get a good atmosphere before the match too like they do in the football league.
i thought Dario G: Ring of Fire :confused:Any one got any ideas:confused:

How about that song Bryan Adams sang about Sherwood Forest? Judging by the number of records sold and its length at number one it is a clear winner. Especially with courting couples and older ladies, both of which we seem to be mostly missing in the demographic profile of City fans. Maybe we could try and tap into the pink pound and get a bit of Steps on. And perhaps we could also exploit the military's presence in the area with a regular airing of Paul Hardcastle's '90' from the early eighteenths.
Is this possible?

I've got the anthem on my computer that they play when Premiership teams come out, if it's needed to be put on a CD I could do it. Also Eye of the Tiger is an old classic. Chelsea play 3 or 4 songs religiously before kick off, we could do the same.

That's the song if anyone was wondering.

Now there's an idea - 'Smack my Bitch up' being sung by the cathedral choir while one of the clergymen plays the organ.

It's been Eye of the Tiger for a good few months now. Not sure what DJ Charlie has in mind for this year though

you want something to do with one of your players, or a club anthem. we have one at fgr :brickwall: its a bit dodgy and no one sings 2 it but in another way is quite cool! before the players walk out of the tunnel at FGR we have "whats that coming over the hill" by the automatic after our centre back darren jones - basically because he is tough!

thats fair enough! we have some men singing very low and are then joined by a very high pitched voice! better than one we had the previous season, supposedly had to be sang by fans but it was just colin peake on the mic! cambridge utd fans first ever game in the conference - they must have wondered what they had let themsevles in for!!! :D

Not to bothered about songs when we score - normally going to mental to notice that :p
For me it has to be 'Eye Of The Tiger' when the players come out on to the pitch.

As a real tension builder prior to the gladiators (players) entering the arena how about 'Also Sprach Zarathustra, op.30' by Richard Strauss! I believe there is a 1 minute 45 second version.
Or, the opening couple of minutes of 'O Fortuna' from Carmina Burana by Carl Orff with the players dashing out onto the pitch at the climax suitably fired up!!

I think that is the 'Space Odyssey 2001' Music.
'O Fortuna' is the music that was in the FGR Video I think.

"O Fortuna" was used in the Carling adverts some years back, and the Old Spice adverts in the late 70's. Very inspiring piece of music - good choice
