Have to feel sorry for Cheltenham fans today. While we have had the news of another top class signing, Damian Spencer has signed for another 2 years today :D

Someone off their forum said:

"Am sorry, but I have to say I am gutted I have to watch this clown for another two years."

I think I would feel the same way if I was paying money to see Spencer trying to play football though :brickwall:

Answer me Joycie, what would Spencer add to the front line at FGR? Admittedly we're probably a striker short but what's the point is signing someone who is horrendously inconsistent and most likely would not fit in? Rigoglioso, Afful, DCB and (unfortunately) Beesley will still be with us next season so what's the point in just signing whoever is available just for the sake of it? Gloucester can sign who they want but how many of those signings could make it in the Conference on a regular basis?

I'm talking Conference as in Blue Square Premier, not the second tier which is essentially no more than what the old Southern/Northern/Isthmian Premier divisions were.
