The PS2 version is an extremely shoddy update, with the only changes being Mark 'kn*b' Lawrenson, names in capital letters (!), poor music, and somebody getting a bit excited and creating a white stripe down the middle of Arsenal's shirt.

Well it's no worse than the last one, and considering it cost me about £7 due to being split 3 ways, it's probably worth it just for the updated squads, but it's very lazy. Hopefully when I start earning probably, I might splash out on a PS3 and get it sorted.

The thing that annoys me, if anything, is that it's set for HD TV's and mine isn't so it can be hard to read at times. I might buy a small(er) flatscreen and hang above my main TV so that I can play XBOX games on it :thumbs:

I don't think its that bad a game to be honest, certainly in terms of graphics/gameplay its up there with the best. Anyway as Joe will confirm i'm absolutely hopeless even though I did get Owen to score a spectacular header in the last minute :D

depends who long konami want to take putting them up,

as for the game itself its identical to the 360 version (system specs depending).

I use the 360 gamepad on the pc,

also it only cost me 18 pounds too from Play ;)

There is an official microsoft wireless adapter to plus in via usb, or if you have a wired controller just plug it in, the latest windows firmware will reconise it straight away and u can use it there and then

Does anyone else game lag a little, I've had every game since the start and I notice it loads and it's really affecting my enjoyment.

At first I thought it was my old TV but I tried it downstairs with my new TV and it's the same, maybe worse as its on a big screen. Argh!!!

Right I've found out that there are known framerate problems and Konami are creating a patch for it.

Apparently the online is virtually unplayable. Now they have closed it altogether for the near future.

the pc patch is out, framerates have been fine just the lag in the network games,

the patch is a fix to make online lag free...

As a person that's had every Pro Evolution since number 1, having spent literally months of my life on this game I can confirm that this is one of the worst.

Problems:

- The framerate is bad
- The online is broken and being fixed, so can't play online
- There's no English or British Stadiums
- There are only 15 stadiums, there are 26 on the PS2 version
- Spurs and Newcastle are the two licenced English teams, why?
- Still the same non-player names for Germany etc. but I can live with that I like editing.
- Apparently the PS2 version is pretty much no difference to PES6
- It makes a *bling* noise when you skip any replay after a shot.
- The replays skipn and glitch
- The angles are not a user friendly as the previous 6 games.
- You can't edit any of the badges for the other teams, so I can't make a City badge.
- You can't put sponsers on the shirts because I don't have some sort of PS3 digital camera.
- The menu is rubbish, I like seeing the whole list.
- The music on non-match screens is embarrasing! Someone needs to sort their life out or allow an option where I can put my own music in, but it doesn't have that either.
- Joe Cole isn't in the England squad and Evra is a Supporting Striker, just little things that piss you off.
- No snow mode.
- Loading screen with Ronaldinho is much better on FIFA
- It cost £40, so you expect a finished article.
- I'VE WAITED MONTHS FOR THIS GAME AND EVEN BOUGHT A PS3 READY FOR IT, BUT IT'S NOT FINISHED AND NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

In summary, I'm really embarrased that Konami can get this so so wrong and have damaged the Pro Evo name. (I'm not buying FIFA)
