No panic, I just posted something libellous again.
I foresaw this, what with your new role as a champion of non-league football in Gloucestershire. Nothing clamps down on free speech like a bit of responsibility. I had to stop slagging off the players when I worked behind the bar at City, or I'd get grief when I was serving up their pints after games.

If this happens, I'll be amazed, and Ecotricity will be bust within the year. Hope they are prepared for the next surprise letter from the inland revenue heading their way.

He has £85m, that's enough to pay off our debt and still have change for a bag of chips and the bus ride home. What's the problem?

I have a had a read through the company history. This chap deserves a lot of respect for having an idea, based on a strong personal belief, and forsaking a regular salary and security to fight the utilities cartels and get established. This is a proper invention that serves some useful purpose to mankind rather than feed the consumerist frenzy. I wish this chap well for the future.
It would have been great if he had come to City but from a commercial point of view he is onto a winner with the club having Green in their name, and getting free advertising everytime his company and the football team are mentioned together. Maybe we should have considered changing our knickname from the Tigers to the Microsofts.
