very sad news,

With my great betting skills i predict Andy Goldstein from the all sports show to take over

He's awful on the all-sports show. Saturday mornings just won't be the same from now on!

Hopefully its not Goldstein!

I reckon it might be the Cricket AM Presenter Simon Thomas or, but he doesn't really have the arrogance of Lovejoy so I doubt it'll work. Chris Kamara could be worth a shout too.

Anyone who takes up the job has a TOUGH act to follow!

Yeah he produces the show aswell, i'm so gutted to hear this it will never be the same!

Kamara would be a great replacement if they could get him to, but he likes to go the the grounds and call the action for Soccer Saturday.

I don't know.

Get Robbie Knox or Fenners on there I reckon!

I'm surprised he's left as it seems the perfect job for him. He clearly thinks he can get some decent presenting jobs in the future but I'm not so sure. I think it could be a mistake.

Well he did that interview for ITV before the last world cup with Beckham so that's obviously where the Simon Fuller link comes in!

He does that Sunday morning programme aswell, maybe he wants to try something with that and free his Saturdays to watch more Chelsea

What they don't want is a clone, it has to be someone with a totally different, yet just as entertaining personality

I imagine so but I think he wants to further is career as well which is fair enough but I don't think it will work out for him. It will be interesting to see what the new job is.

he did do a bit of sky sports early carling cup presenting. but i doubt that is what he is moving in to it and he wasn't exactly a natural when it came to it. he also has a TV show: "Something for the Weekend". Must have been offered a deal by Mourinho to go to Chelsea is what i'm expecting  i'm just looking forward to seeing helen chamerbain in torquay and at the new lawn next season :)
