Well the official line-up's out, people are saying that it's the weakest for many years and I'm half tempted to agree, but it's never going to please everyone. Anyway I'd happily not watch a single band the entire week, there's tons more to do
Bands I am likely to check out are, in no particular order:
Spititualized, The Aliens, The Bees, Arcade Fire. The Bootleg Beatles, Madness, SFA, the rest I will wander around and see what takes my fancy.
Note to others going, I have it on good authority that the gates open at 8am this year, I'm planning on leaving at 0530 and passing out by 0815.

In places it is strong but in others its also quite weak. I think it shows that there arent actually that many good bands out there at the moment because the Reading line-up is also poor this year

The line up's decent but the absence odecent breakthrough bands means that the John Peel Stage is awful. I'll only see Good Shoes on there.
Apart from them I'm looking forward to Arcade Fire, Super Furries, Pete Doherty solo, Ash (only on the bandstand?! Maybe it's not them), and especially seeing Brakes headline the Leftfield tent at 2.35am on Saturday night with an acoustic set. May have to limit my cider intake that day, as on the last Saturday I spent at Glasto I was asleep in a cocktail of 3 different bodily juices by 8.30pm, and I have no intention of repeating that.
Plus Cool Runnings is on in the Cinema tent!

I cant believe you want to watch Good Shoes Joe they are awful. Some bands that are worth checking out are The Pipettes, The Long Blondes, The Enemy, Switches and The Fratellis. There are plenty of bands to avoid as they are rubbish but I'd be here all night listing them.

Cheers for the tip on that one mate. I also hear there are another undiscovered band playing called the Arctic Monkeys or something. I might give them a listen.
Don't forget the Who are playing, and I reckon they could really start to make waves over the next couple of years. One to watch for sure.
Did you tip Authorised to win the Derby on your show last Saturday night? ;)

You cheeky git. I just didn't know if you had seen them live or not so I was saying they are a good live band that was all.
I wasnt working on Saturday because I was actually there but I had been tipping up Autorized for the last three weeks as it was a cert, the best horse in the race by miles even you could have won on it.
