Giggs has won more English league titles than any other player but his decision means he will never play at a major international tournament.

Neither will any of the current squad, the next generation of Wales players and the generation after that. Beyond 2050 I wouldn't like to say and it would be presumptious for me to speculate.

The Welsh really should stick to rugby and singing.

there was a point under mark hughes where wales were performing superbly and were unlucky not to qualify for euro 2004. but it seems now its just a squad of unknown league players

wales drew 2-2 with new zealand on saturday and a player called smeltz scored twice for new zealand. smeltz has just been released by halifax town and was awful for them against FGR. so how come he can score twice against a team with the likes of ryan giggs, simon davies, craig bellamy, danny gabbidon??

Only 64 caps for Giggs. Could have been double that if he didn't have such dodgy hamstrings;) every time a meaningless friendly came around!
