Mr Kingo, I have just had a phone call from, hello my name is Angel, would you like your loft insulated, it will not cost you a penny!
It would be impossible tp make up!
She is from some John Wayne (cowboy) company who have been touring the area for weeks touting for business!
If the blessed match had been on, I would not have to listen to her patter!
I blame the weather!

Did have someone ring me up recently saying that I had "won" a £1,000 voucher towards a new kitchen - I had to answer one question, when did I last have a new kitchen I told them less than a year, unfortunately I couldn't claim my prize as I didn't qualify!!!!

I can'nt remember so many City games postponed because of the weather during any other season, can anyone else?
It must have cost the club lots of monies they cannot afford!
Has Ciren FC suffered as much as us as well?
Though no fault of our hosts, the ground must be between 500 and a thousand feet above sea level!
I blame it all on this Global warming malarky!

It used to drain much better, though this has been a year not only of more frosts but also much more rain. I'm guessing that one of the pitch maintenance jobs this year will be to clear out the drains.
On a different point, remember when the wind always blew at the Corinium? This season, been only 2 Ciren matches when it has been been noticably windy. Hard to understand, but maybe that is also a consequence of the very different wind patterns of the winter; jet stream positioning and all that ....
On a specific, 620 feet above sea level.
