What were the arrangements at Cirencester, did you share with their shop or did you have your own separate place to purchase Gloucester City merchandise.

Cirencester FC were generous enough to supply a shop FOC by the first game of the season

Not right, Jake. Ciren made the arrangements for us, but the Trust paid a monthly rent for the hire of the shop. We were most grateful to have a location for it, but it was not Ciren's and so they could not offer it to us f.o.c.

We shall have a facility at Cheltenham as part of the arrangements made with them, and it will not be a "shop share". It was something I argued strongly for and the Cheltenham people understood my concern and responded helpfully. It will not be a portakabin, nor the trestle table "shop" that we had at FGR. In fact, I think it will have advantages over both, not least because it will be more spacious than the portakabin.

Just last Tuesday evening, Shaun Wetson and I moved the contents of the shop from The Corinium down to Whaddon Road where their secretary and a couple of helpers were awaiting us and assisted with the unloading of the van.

I understand that it may be the case that Cirencester retain the unit, to which end I have left the "Tommy Taylor steps" there. It seemed the right thing to do. I have meant to write to himself between to see if he was in agreement. No doubt I shall hear shortly !

Malabus can't wait to spend his pennies of Gloucester City memorabilia. Sadly, we don't sell comic books.

Technically there is no such thing as a "comic book"....."graphic novels, comic paper or comic magazine" are terms used by proffessional collectors and readers.

Which is why we don't sell them
