Thorough enjoyed Dagenham's win against Rotherham today (nothing against the Yorkshire side, of course).

I have walked past their little ground about five times in the last twelve months. It's little changed since we went there for the Trophy semi-final. Goodness knows how they will stage games with the likes of Southampton, but it's a nice problem for them to be set.

Didn't they build a big new stand?

Yes, but I am thinking more of the accessibility down Victoria Road.

Did anyone see ex-Bath, Tiverton and Dorchester striker Phil Walsh come on for them to play in defence?

Also the crowd was less than the BSP final which I found interesting.

Did he elbow anyone?

He was shit. Is he really playing League Two/One football?

Yeah, they signed him from Dorchester not long after we knocked them out of the cup.

I knew that I should have known him ! Alas Goughie was not around to tell me about his c.v.

I know that you know this area, Darran. It's a bit Godforsaken, isn't it ? You'd think more people would support the football club.

Yeah Ive never been to Dagenham itself but Barking, just down the road, is a horrible place. I would imagine most people around there would support West Ham though which is always going to be a problem.
