Stoke Lane Do Double

The Ladies of Stoke Lane Athletic completed the double with a 4 -3 victory after extra time, over Cam Bulldogs today at Slimbridge, in the County Womens Football League Cup.

Good game of football, Cam twice had a two goal cushion at 2 - and 3-1, but Stoke Lane fought back to 3-3 to force extra time.
Stoke Lane had already won the League, and are looking to move up to the South West League.

Nice to see Kempy, Kerys, Kookie, Meheran from our ladies, and Paige from the under 15s in the crowd.

I think the others or some of them went to watch the 2nds at warden hill who at the end of play drew 3-3 well done girls

we all watched both games yesterday was so tired getting up for the ealry 2nds k.o expecially after being out the night before, the 2nds played well and were unlucky not to win and the cam v stokeland game was gud too :)
