Many of you know that I live in th Forest...no comments please....

Well there is a large recreation ground within 5 minutes walk from me, now I am not complaining but....

We are getting a MUGA, thats a Multi-Use Games Area for those of you that dont know...

And it will look like this....

OK so its only 5 aside size but it is flood lit as well...now we already have one of these within 10 minutes drive in Cinderford.

and City cant even get a ground WTF is going on.

If it's anything like that new playground in Longlevens it'll be torched within months.

Where in the Forest is it going to be Drakey? Haven't heard anything about it.

Its going on the Ruspidge Recreation field, there is a large ish excavator there at the moment....

My point exactly Dom, these aint exactly cheap and Ruspidge is a very small village so WTF is a large city like Gloucster doing...seems like the whole of the shire is against us...:exit:

I think the Waterwells on (QWFC) is being paid for from developer contributions on Kingsway, not from City Council coffers.

2bh its not about the money, although it needs to be found from somewhere but the fact that its being done at all and with relative ease, including planning permission. Houses surround the area....

I'm not sure how they managed that, the Kingsway boundry goes up to the old RAF site, QWFC's pitches are across the road from it. Still if thats true they must have sweet talked them some how. I think people are fogetting that we have several, very good youth teams as well as the first team. Perhaps we should go for the kids angle, it seems to work!
