Will be available here (http://www.livescores.co.uk/myTeamLive.jsp?account=3&match=921) from 7.45 tonight thanks to Clifty
It looks as though this service may be well used by our pony trekking friends from the New Forest as there's no mention of the game on their second rate forum (http://s2.excoboard.com/exco/forum.php?forumid=156627) or on their eight rate alternative (http://members7.boardhost.com/Bash-Open-Forum/).

Will be important to get 3 points and see a good game tonight, after 5 games unbeaten i reckon a few people who haven't city this season might be tempted to pop down and a good show will keep them coming through the gates in future. These are the games we usually f**k up.

These are the games we usually f**k up.I know what you mean Matt, a lot hinged on this game last season. Let's hope we can buck the trend tonight.

Looking forward to the game but not holding out much hope for a decent attendance with this weather and the fact that people would have to drive all the way to Ciren.
Fingers crossed for 3 points though, that would be a fantastic start and set the Farnborough match up nicely!

Another fantastic result tonight and we are still unbeaten, with a difficult game to come on Saturday against Farnborough.
But we need to sign the boy Clarke from St Albans he's up to 24 goals in the match against Bishops Stortford and my word that's a long injury time.

Final Score 3-0
Two fantastic goals from Bally and Symons towards the end of the first half although I missed the first one at the burger hut
Symons got a second in the second half to round off a comfortable City win.
Not sure about the "Boris Boris Boing Boing " song though !

3-0 final score, first two goals were from outside the area both in the top corner, one pile driver the other placed, third goal by Symons who took it round the keeper and placed it into an empty net:smile:

550 at Farnborough, I doubt Yate would have brought many-i.e more than 10! Could there be a 800+ crowd on Saturday? Also nice to see more names down for the coach on Saturday, I would hope after this performance even more people will want to go!

Great performance. I know there has been encouragement for fans to go in the stand on the side, but there's no better place to be to watch the first two goals tonight than right behind the goal. First one was an absolute belter.
Pitch, Symonds and Bally look so lively up front and we looked very solid at the back as well. Looking forward to Saturday.

Fantastic performance tonight, we couldn't ask for more.
I wonder how much hinged on the decision to kick with the wind in the first half? The only disappointment was that it took about 35 minutes to try shooting from distance, something both Bally and Simmo accomplished with aplomb. I don't think we'll see two better goals for a long while, it's just a shame that I wasn't prepped with the camera and missed all three :frown:
The most impressive part of the game though was the second half, it looked like it might be a backs to the wall job but we headed back everything they chucked at us and they barely managed to get behind the defence. I'll bet they're all delighted with the clean sheet.
Listen to what Boris Boris Boing Boing had to say by right clicking here (http://www.cityladies.co.uk/spf/dm020908.mp3), saving the mp3 to your pc and listening with your favourite mp3 software.

good interview again - i love the culture where the manager of a non-league club is happy to spill the beans to the fans straight after the game.
(the doctor is just back off holiday, but into pantomime Directing and Church preaching, but will get to games when poss ... i decided to buy a season ticket, so the club gets the money whether or not i'm there...)

does anyone know why the ref had to be substituted at half time, apart from the fact that he was completely useless!!He twisted his ankle. Boris said that Bashley were streetwise and maybe thats what made the referee look so bad.
He's Andy Williams from Hereford by the way, he used to ref us maybe a decade ago before moving up the ladder into the league. He's obviously on the way back down now cos I thought he was dreadful.

Terrific performance in testing conditions. These lads are really firing at the moment and Symons is looking like the complete striker; tall, strong, tricky and a hell of a finish.
As for their forum, that Steve character is dragging our club through the dirt with some of the crap he's coming out with. I was going to reply but i cant be arsed to humour the tosser. Dont think i'll be putting any more money through their turnstile.

Brilliant performance this evening topped off by two of the best goals I've seen in a long time!
We've shown now that we can perform against (and dominate) some of the better sides in the league so lets hope we can continue it on Saturday.

if that was one of the better teams then winning this league will be easy because they were poor!

Well they did finish 5th last season, just shows either how much we've improved that we effectively dominated them.

You should read the thread again, it never stated that it happened last season - the incident was back in the early nineties at an end of season midweek nothing match.
Truly amazing to find that level of fan at a non-league game even back then.
Our club complained to yours about the coach etc and were told that it was not Gloucester fans doing this but rather fans of the two Bristol clubs who had been banned from those clubs and ended up at yours instead.
Don't know why i'm even bothering typing this as Tigger would have probably turned it into Dutch or Swahili anyway:rolleyes:

Simply awesome again tonight, all over the park. Two astounding goals, and the other very well taken. What impressive signings they are. All credit to Boris.
The defence looked rock solid once more. I think Ash Thomas is a great player, but I really think he'll struggle for games this year when they perform like that. They didn't put a foot wrong all night.
I'm going to give Webby man of the match as he's playing the best football I've seen him play for 2 or 3 seasons. He really looks like he's enjoying playing it out there, and so he should be.

that just makes you lot even sadder then if you are complaining about something that happened almost 2 decades ago! use it as an excuse for not travelling all you like but at the end of the day we all know the real reason why none of you travel!

I would like to say that Steve AKA "Bash" is not representative of all Bash fans. He is just an insomniac Fudge Seller who you would be hard pressed to find at a home game before half time let alone an away game.
His wife however, is a lady of some integrity and to resort to calling her names is out of order, please don't do it.
All Gloucester fans will of course be made welcome when you visit Bashley, please don't stay away because of one outspoken person.

A really solid performance last night with a couple of cracking goals.
We look to have a really good squad this season with Ash, Syko & Reidy not even getting on the pitch last night.
Saturday is going to be a really tough game but I think we will have a better idea of how good the team is after that game.

Wouldn't be a Citizen report about the premier football team in its own city if they got ALL the facts right! :tosser: At least they got the "last night" bit right.

Looking at your stats Neil, Wilko scored as many goals (45 goals in 245 appearances) than all the combined efforts of Jamie Reid,Tom Webb,Rosie,Neil Mustoe and Sycho (total of 48 goals in 711 appearances)... Speaks for itself .
