Shame for us really as I'd like to see him in a City shirt, local boy and all, but I think if he's willing to uproot his family on a whim then it shows how far from reality him signing for City is!

If I'd been released by my club and got offered a chance to play in Europe I'd snap it up - Wayne kind of echoes what Mike Green said the other week about how hard it is for players who are without a club at the moment.

There will be another version of the interview on SportGlos/ the Citizen this week where he talks a bit more about how he first got signed and playing for Longlevens as a teenager but I've not written it up yet!
