In a titanic match at Nuneaton yesterday, City Under 12's booked their place in the STI Junior Premier League Cup Final when we beat Nuneaton by a single goal after aet in the second leg. This was a real test of character for the lads with Nuneaton equalising deep into a very long period of second haf stoppage time. This is a fantastic performance, made even better when you realise that we had to start in the only preliminary round match in the competition. In the final we will be facing Kidderminster Harriers. The date and venue are to be advised, though the final is likely to be held in early May. The league tend to look for top quality grounds to play these matches on so there should be a lot to look forwards to.
The U16 squad had perhaps their best result of the season with a crushing 4-0 away win.
Finally, our congratulations go to Brockworth Albion who won the County Cup final 1-0 against Bristol City. Well done to all the City lads involved in this memorable win.
