Luke Ballinger scored 36 goals for Melksham Town (Toolstation League) in the 2005/2006 season and scored 14 or 15 for Magnotsfield last season. That kind of contribution or better will certainly help our cause next season. He is also a member of the England Futsal squad. He is described as lightening quick, so between him and Jack Pitcher it could be quite exciting.

Lee Marshall is from Paulton Rovers, it seems he might have good crossing ability from free kicks and he is a left sided player.

I hope these two enjoy their time with us and have a successful season in 2008/2009.

Tim Harris obviously thinks that these players will add something to our squad and at least most players seem to be wanting to stay with us, I think this has a lot to do with Tim's management style and the support of the fans.

Obviously I hope that both Neil Mustoe & Alex Sykes also play for us next season because Neil Mustoe was superb last season protecting the defence very well and rightfully getting the "Player of Season" awards that he got and Syke's contribution is not shouted about too much but he scores goals and provides many assists for other players (especially good at crosses).

Looks like two good signings. Good news.

I'd now like to see another centre-half added to the squad. I've heard that Clevedon's entire back-line has left them, but haven't signed for anyone else yet. I'm sure I remember them having a couple of decent defenders.

Starting to get really excited about the new season now.

Thats right Neil, guttd to be losing Geraint and Robb and to make matters worse Scott Hendy has signed for Weston, Mike Trought is signing for Paulton and Danny Haines for Almondsbury!!!!!! :eek:

Apparently are reducing their budget for this season and many of their players have left, this unfortunately is the reality of non-league football unless you have fantastic backers.

Clevedon may be in trouble next season.
