Looks like a reprieve could be on the cards for the Magpies...

Nuneaton Borough have been liquidated, hard to believe what with their new ground just last season. How do these clubs get in such a mess?

Yeah read this was happening. It is yet unclear as to what division Nuneaton will be in they could be in ours.
Someone in the NLP this week said that it is wrong that relegated teams get saved and instead teams should be promoted.

Of course it's wrong but decisions are usually made at the League Jolly at the seaside and the blazers have a habit of looking after their mates. How do you think the football league kept out the amatuer upstarts for so long?!!

I thought I heard on Midlands Today sometime this week that they would probably be in BGB Midland Divn. They showed footage of their FACup game a couple of years ago, was it against Middlesboro'

Yep it was against the mighty boro! What a farce this is. So does this mean Bedford stay up? Dorchester and WSM were the two games i was looking foward to away, typical. Nuneaton,Halifaxs etc fate is being held on the 9th of June. Why on earth were Cambridge put into our league instead of the isthmian anyway? Reminds me of such other baffling moves like Yeovil being put into the icis instead of the beazer homes and Worcester being in the conference north.

This means we'll get bloody Bedford back.
One thing that makes up for a mediocre season (not going up, not going down) is the fact that you'll see a good number of different teams next year. It no longer seems to be the case.

Nuneaton will almost certainly be in the league below us. As a result its also meant Redditch have been shifted back into the BSN. Its a mess but I fully expect things like this to happen at the end of every season.

I don't think there is any point in getting excited about any away day in non-league anymore until the first ball gets kicked in the new season.
This is mental, I agree with everyone.
What if teams like WSM and Bedford had lost players etc. because of the league drop, now they could be in an even worse position than when they were relegated.

i reckon teams should just get dedected points so then this mess up wont happen!!

A few years ago, didn't FGR (on one of the occasions they were 'relegated') opt to go into Conf. North? Were they actually given that option of North or South? It seemed a strange choice to me at the time, due to the increased travelling that would have been incurred.
Luckily for them it didn't happen as they had a reprieve anyway.

I spoke to an FGR fan I used to work with and he said it's because of higher crowds in the Conference North.
