i see has been released by FGR. This is a big suprise to me! he was an amazing defender from what i saw of him both at city and at FGR! If only we could have him back!!

He didn't make too many waves there did he? And call me callous but I thought that Chris Holland was the player that stood out between the pair at the time.

I think you only say that though because of his goals. Defensively, don't get me wrong he was good, but he got caught out a few times. An example being Salisbury if my memory serves me correctly. Anyway, both are a better standard than we can attract or pay for in my opinion.

He looked promising and we thought he would develop into a good centre half but never did, always just a bit short of what was wanted. I reckon JH got fed up of waiting.

He will play at a higher level than our league, me thinks!

When he played for us, he steadied a very shaky defence no end.

When Chris Holland came in, that was the icing on the cake, and City survived!

he was always decent but never anything special. and i think it would take a lot to get him to gloucester for next season - probably a BSS club or perhaps another BSP club. a lot to contend with especially when you see we also released an impressive centre back by the name of chris giles as well. think jim harvey wants ben ashford to play the preece role next season...

I'd take him back certainly, but would be suprised if he wasn't playing in the Blue Square South next season.

Well if we cann't get Mark Preece, Darren Huckerby has been released by Norwich, could always find "some" position in the team for him !!
