I see that Steve McLaren has been ruled out of the Villa job due to, allegedly, Randy Lerner learning of negative feedback on various message boards.

I wonder what we could make happen on the COF :)

That will be an excellent appointment for all involved. He'll get all of the young, English talent there playing the right way. It'll get him away from perennial water treaders Wigan, and into in a secure club with strong foundations.

His Swansea team were the best footballing team I ever had the pleasure of watching Cheltenham play against. Would like to see him do well at Villa as I work with quite a few Villa fans who are all good lads.
