We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to a fantastic year in Non League football. The British Gas Premier has been a great spectacle and the play-offs finished it off in true style.

The Non League Vidiprinter will be back next year bigger and better, but in the mean time we have just launched our new news system that offers you the latest Non League news in real time. We are now the only service in the country who offers extensive coverage of Non League football 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, which includes the latest headlines as soon as matches finish, whilst our rival sites are all off work for the weekend.

The NL Vidiprinter was a joke this season, got things wrong all the time, I at least was able to get correct 1/2 time and Full-Time scores on Sky Sports News.

The site is not bad but as a teacher would say

"The NL Vidiprinter must try harder"

I think thats harsh calling it "a joke". They seem to have done all they could and have been let down by the people supposed to be providing the information.

Far off fans should count their blessings that people, often at great expense to themselves, take the time to provide these services for their benefit. And for free.

this site is far from a joke! i have to be honest i have their number and tried to update them where possoble so if anyone blame me for not texting them as and when required!!

The site is actually quite good.

But I stand by what I said about the Vidiprinter - it was inaccurate most of the time, if it wasn't for other sources like the COF, Sky Sports News and my Dad being at matches I wouldn't have had a clue what the real score was.

The BBC Vidiprinter doesn't even show our league most of the time, so it's no great shakes either.

As i have already said, and Neil has just said, that is not down to the site that is down to people like me who send in the information. Unfortunately what with keeping livescores updated etc it is easy to forget to send updates to this site!!

See that old Livescores thingy, are you the same one to blame for that, the match starting half an hour later than the kick off time, similarly goals not be recorded on time. Have you nothing better to do at the match, wake yourself up man or as we would say over here "catch yourself on" or "your a tube" :biggrin::biggrin:

Seriously, some of us who live impossible distances away to get to many games or who are not going to a game for some reason appreciate this facility and that it costs someone to text in the scores to keep us updated.

My Dad also keeps me updated from the games...Thanks to him as well. If i am home I then update the COF, just in case the first paragraph (above) has come into play.

Live scores has been a problem, as has the vidiprinter as reception hasn't been good at the New Lawn, and messages don't always send! also i think livescores can have its "bad days", and will take ages to update. I always send the goals in as soon as they are scored, so if they ever take time to filter through that is a livescores issue.

Of course if the service isn't satisfactory then i am more than willing to not bother, save my texts, be able to celebrate goals, and save myself money!!

Re-Read paragraph 2 of my post.

I was trying to be light hearted i.e. the Big Grins, I even put two on the post so it was obvious that it was being light hearted.

You just can't win with these posts !!
