Team Tax won 4-1. i personally am glad, as i feel that neither are a team that deserves to go up, and think that halesowen will beat Chipp and team tax!

I'm glad cos that tosser from Bashley can now go home with his tail between his legs. Hope he has plenty to gripe about the home fans with!

What makes the situation even more of a joke is that only 203 people actually bothered to turn up to watch the game tonight. That is just 40 more people than the league match for Team Bath v Bashley and 22 LESS than the league match against us, just a few weeks back! What a farce! I bet Bashley barely managed to get a coach up and I would suspect that some Bath City fans and some neutrals turned up to the game, which makes it even worse.
Just imagine if we had made it to the play-offs.....I reckon we would have taken 203 fans at a minimum.....

Post on Bashleys forum from a Bath City fan probably sums it up;

you useless bastards, how can you get battered by the students like that?I hate team tax,but to be honest after seeing your "support" tonight at twerton neither of you deserve to go up.Heres to Halesowen joining us

So now they try to play again tomorrow ahead of the final on Saturday ? That would shorten the winners' preparation time, whereas the students . . .

I want TB to win it. Get them out of the way to give us a more level playing field next season.

The crowd for the Halesowen game isn't shown on the SL site but I would imagine it would be close to the 1000 mark, or at least I hope. Lets hope that Leamington make it through the play-offs as they seem to get a few through the gate and would hopefully bring a few down to boost our coffers.

Full stand at Grove Road, packed terrace end (with both sets of fans being very sensible what with the goals flying in at regular intervals) and a fair sprinkling (literally at times) of umbrellas on the end and open terraces. Felt like nigh on 8 - 900, probably more.
Really should not have started. Chippenham very very forthright, threw themselves into it, speedy front men made Yeltz shiver. Yeltz equalised from penno with ref unable to identify the last man who handled on the line and then worked a very impressive second equaliser.
If it rains again can't see it being any different on Thursday and the survivor will have a difficult time at Twerton now.
One classic moment as the rain hurled down 20 minutes in and the grass disappeared - Black Country voice beside me said 'Thank goodness (he didn't say goodness, mind) we ain't playing Glos - they like this sort of pitch' and our corner of the terrace dissolved in laughter. It was that kind of night, what non-league is all about.

... a more level playing field next season.
Not at The Corinium Neil, unless the famed Tigers' fans pre-season stadium preparation has another project in mind

I'm hoping TB go up.
Yeltz and Chipps are two local ground to visit and always bring decent away support.
Always two of the best matches of the season.

I want the winners from Halesowen v Chipp to go up. Team Tax really don't deserve promotion, it will be annoying playing them again next year but I would rather that than see them moving up through the football pyramid.

Team Bath and Bashley are both embarassing anyway.
I hope Team Bath go up actually, just to get rid of them. Let's see how the Conference South likes them.

Bit disapointed by everyone's comments on Bashley. Sure theyre not the biggest club in SLP but they are a very friendly and well run club with some good players, they deserved to be in the play offs and if they won it then i wouldnt begrudge them their success.

It's not the club Lee, it's that mong of a fan who came on here slagging our fans off cos his wife told him on the phone!

I went to Bashley and thoroughly enjoyed myself, 3 points would have been better than 1 as we had enough chances to win though. But the sun was out, the bar was good, locals friendly and the one stand with the weird meshing on the floor you could make loads of noise in.
The only thing that soured my opinion on them was like Neil said "Bash" coming on here having a pop at us straight away despite not being at the game, also digging at us getting 20 less than them average attendance (forgetting that we have to do a 30+mile round trip) and then making up lies about us bringing no support down to them when we easily had half of the attendance there.

Fair points, that had slipped my mind. Bash is probably part of the cucumber club, theyre a bit odd, 6 toes and that sort of malarky.

I went to watch the Blue Square South play-off semi-final last night between Fisher and Hampton and Richmond and there were only 450 people at that game and one of those teams might be in the Blue Square Premier next season. Fisher can barely manage more than 200 for their home games. I really dont get why so many people on here have a go at lesser supported teams it isnt there fault no one turns up, it just makes us lucky that we have such a good support.

Have to say in their defence, that the Chairman gave me £80.00 for our Flood Fund. In my book he's a good guy !
