What was your favourite match this season? Doesn't necessarily have to be a win, just for entertainment and enjoyment. I think last years was more 'result of the season'.

2006/07 - King's Lynn 0 -1 City (36%)

Although Yate 5-1 was the sweetest I'd have to go for the 3-0 Chipp match as I had one of my best mates over from Maidstone, and he'd never seen City in the 15 years I'd known him. He was very impressed with City and the standard of football. City did me proud that day.

The 3-0 win over Chippenham was one of the most complete performances I've seen from City, and in front of a big crowd too. Great day.

The Corby game had it all for me.

Early pressure but it wouldn't go in.
Then it did, a scrappyish goal from Will.

Second half, Corby pushed and got an equaliser.

They a defensive rick saw them score again (a good lob)

It looked like our winning run was over but Smudge found Will with his back to goal, he turned and shot too quickly and it went under his body.

Almost instantly Matt Walsh scored again to put us ahead?

Shades of offside as Jack broke through and bore down on goal, pass to Jody - cue silly celebration #1

And Jack got a deserved goal, beating the offisde trap and touching past the keeper before doing the long jump.

Then their manager was sacked!

How can you beat that?

Chipps game was the first I saw since the Shortwood debarcle, and resurrected my faith that we can play effective and attractive football on our day.

Easy - you get home to find out that Cheltenham has been nuked, a brewery dray has delivered to your house by accident and a bevvy of beauties is in your front room, naked, demanding satisfaction while your wife makes you a bacon sandwich and watches.

My favourite game was when we beat Team Bath 2.1 with a late winner from Matt Rose.

Totally agree!
