I watched Matt Shaxton play for Ciren against Team Bath tonight and in an attacking sense he was their best player, especially in the second half when he was gallopping down the slope.

Ciren were unlucky really but they went to sleep at a corner and got punished by Steve Abbott (boooo!) The students made real hard work of it and had Ciren's ten put away his volley when the TB keeper could only parry a shot it may well've been different.

And I don't think Sean Canham had a shot!

I read in the NLP this week that one of the students at Bath cant even get in the team and he was saying that its nearly impossible for players at the uni into get in the team and if they go up it is only going to get worse.

Nice to see him checking out the fantasy 'Temporary T-End' for next season. And, he made me laugh all the way through the first half. Got to enjoy something about yr footy when all else is going arse end up.

No consolation to reflect that we made TB play harder than they had to do to beat Bash on Sat'dy but, as Neil said, leave a hole on yr back stick and a corner arrives there and they just punish you.

Ho hum. Lynn are in for a real shock, Sat'dy :biggrin:
