I have left Glos City Ladies FC.

As an assistant coach with the club, I was helping to coach girls of varying ages on Saturdays this could vary week by week, and the Ladies on a thursday.

Another local club advertised for a coach/manager for one of their teams through the GFA Coaches Association. They were looking for someone to replace the current manager who is leaving at the end of the season, and to take the team on next season in their next age group.
This was an opportunity to take on my "own" team, and to give continuity of coaching to the players. I can't do both, as training is on the same night as Ladies, and we play /train saturday mornings same time as the girls.

I am not leaving in a huff, I have not had a row with anyone; I am leaving in an amicable fashion.

I will always be grateful to Ian and the Ladies for giving me an opportunity to get into coaching. I wish them all well, and will still get down as often as I can to watch the Ladies.

So if you hear I've left after a row or whatever, it's a load of b******s.

Would have a little difficulty in poaching players; now coaching boys at Quedegeley Wanderers, what will be the under 11s next season.

I'd have thought that with you being a City fan you'd have thought twice about joining a club who have dealt us a severe blow over the clubs future TC?
