Some of you may remember Dave, the chap with irons on both legs. Well he has been in and out of hospital lately, first with prostate problems which with his legs has been a great problem and he has had to have a blood transfusion. Hopefully he will be coming home (again) today and I'm sure that all who know him would wish him good luck. I say (again) because he has been in and out of Gloucester Royal for the last few weeks.
Just thought you would like to know!!

I am sorry to hear this sad news about David, a long standing City fan, who despite his disability up until a few seasons ago even drove to away games.
Thanks John, for making us aware that has has been so poorly. IF possible would you kindly convey my good wishes to David for a speedy recovery.

Not sure if we have Dave's addresss, but if you know it Oldie please send it on via a PM so that we can send Dave a get well message. I know he lives in the same area as you and I must confess that I have visited the house in the past - though I can't now remember the address. Oh, Lor.

All I can say Noah is that when you forget where YOU live and who YOU are, you really are in trouble.
Dave, hope to see you back watching City soon.

I worked with Dave 30 odd years ago and we have met many times at Meadow Park. He is a splendid fellow. I am so sorry to hear he is not in the best of health and I and my family wish him a speedy recovery and back watching his favourite team as soon as is possible.

Thanks everyone, Dave is now home and I have copied off the comments on the forum for him. Ruth his wife thanks you all and says that it will cheer him up.
